After completing a reading of Indian Horse, by Richard Wagamese the Grade 9 and 10 students of LLBMHS each completed a project on a different Residential School in Ontario.
Cecilia Jeffrey Residential School
Cecilia Jeffrey Residential School operated in Kenora, Ontario.
St Joseph Residential School
St Joseph Residential School was operated in Thunder Bay, Ontario. A monument stands where the school once stood. Where this school stood a school continues to stand, Pope John Paul Sr. Elementary School sits on the land where the St Joseph's Residential School once stood.
Shingwauk Residential School
Shingwauk Residential School operated in Sioux Stain Marie, Ontario, and still stands today as part of the Algoma University.
