Teaching Philosophy 

Teaching is a calling that directly impacts the future. I believe my job as a teacher is to facilitate that process and help students to learn by doing, exploring, and solving problems. I wish to create an environment that is a positive learning experience for every child that walks into my class. My goal is to provide many opportunities to develop new skills necessary to become fully functional humans in today's' world.  I engage my students in discussion. activities, and higher-level thinking. It is my goal to identify each child's unique talents and abilities and help them realize their potential.

I establish high, however not unreachable, expectations for my students and provide support for each student so that they may to reach those expectations. I teach to where my student are not where they should be. This is what I believe in.
